Outdoor sockets
Weatherproof external sockets on protected circuits, sited where you actually use tools rather than beside the back door only.
Outdoor & Garden
Gardens have become another room, and they need power like one. Garden offices, hot tubs, outdoor lighting, a socket for the mower and the pressure washer, and a shed that has been running off a lead through a window for the last three summers.
Outdoor electrical work has to cope with Irish weather, so it comes down to correct external equipment, properly protected circuits and cable routes that will not be damaged the next time someone digs a border.

A garden room is not an extension lead job. It needs a suitably sized cable, run and protected correctly, usually buried at a sensible depth with the right cable type or duct, and terminating in a small distribution board in the building itself.
That approach means the building has its own protection, its own circuits for sockets, lighting and heating, and can be isolated independently — which matters when the room is being used as an office.
Most outdoor electrical failures come down to water. Enclosures that were never rated for outdoors, glands not fitted properly, or lighting mounted where it collects run-off. We use external-rated equipment and pay attention to where water actually goes on the building.
Coastal locations around Fingal add salt to the equation, and fittings in exposed positions in places like Howth, Portmarnock or Rush corrode faster than the same fitting inland.
