New shower installation
Electrical supply, circuit protection, isolation and connection for a new electric shower, coordinated with plumbing.
Electric Showers
An electric shower is one of the heaviest single loads in a house. It draws more than most people realise, which is why shower circuits are the ones most likely to show up problems — trips, dropping temperature, or a shower that has stopped heating altogether.
We install, replace and repair electric showers along with the electrical side that makes them work: the dedicated circuit, the protective device and the isolator.

Replacing a failed unit where the existing circuit is suitable, which is often a same-day job.
A more powerful shower may need a larger cable and different protection. We check before you buy rather than after.
Circuits that trip when the shower runs, usually pointing to a failing element or moisture in the unit.
Failed pull-cord switches and isolators, which are a common and easily fixed cause of a dead shower.
Showers and supplies affected by leaks, made safe, dried down, tested and repaired.
Shower units are sold by kilowatt rating, and a higher rating is not automatically an upgrade. The existing cable, protective device and board all have to suit it. Fitting a more powerful unit on a circuit sized for a smaller one causes exactly the tripping and overheating people then call about.
Send us the model you are considering and a photo of your fuseboard and we will tell you whether the existing circuit is up to it before anything is bought.
When to call
We work across Swords, North Dublin, Fingal and the wider Dublin area. If you are not sure whether something needs an electrician, call 089 979 8130 and we will tell you straight.
